Boa Esperança Coffee Farm
HISTORY
Mr. João Silveira
Settled in 1896 as an area of coffee production, the current Farm Boa Esperança was a part of another farm area, and in 1930s the farm was officially founded by Mr. João Silveira, owning the name that keeps until today "Boa Esperança". Since its beginnings until the present day the farm has not changed even a day its main focus on coffee production, producing high quality coffee beans over 100 years.

Electrical Engineer (Mackenzie University, 1967), Business Administration (Mackenzie University, 1973), Postgraduate in Economics (FEA University of São Paulo USP, 1977), Lawyer (Metropolitan Colleges United FMU, 2000), Postgraduate in Business Law (Pontifical Catholic University PUC, 2003).
Since 1969 performs various posts in relevant agencies of the Federal and State governments, among others was Special Adviser for Institutional Issues of the Finance Ministry in Brasilia, during the administration of President Itamar Franco, having participated in the economic team that drafted the Real Plan. He is currently Associate Director of the company Decisão Consultores Associados LTDA. Alongside his business activity he is Professor at the University of São Paulo FIA, Toledo Learning Institute - Campus of Presidente Prudente - SP and Toledo Learning Institute - campus of Bauru - SP, an integral member of the Board of Director of Coffee FAESP (Federation of Agriculture of the State of São Paulo), member of the Board and Director of Administration and Finance SEBRAE (SP) and member of the National Academy of Agriculture.
